Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience to join ORIGEN, an Abu Dhabi-invested technology company, driving innovation in the cutting-edge fields of AI. The ideal candidate will possess strong bilingual skills in Arabic (optional) and English, and have extensive experience managing virtual teams, as well as strong capability in coordinating with professional clients on mid-to-large-scale technology projects valued at over USD 2 million. The role requires rigorous adherence to PMI standards to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints, directly contributing to transformative value for the Emirate's economy and sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with PMI standards, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, with a focus on large-scale AI and IT initiatives.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage virtual teams (SMEs, System Architects, Lead Software Engineers, Consultants, and QA Engineers) across different time zones, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
3. Documentation and Presentation: The candidate must be proficient in creating project documents and presentations.
4. Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness. Identify needs and set priorities for the team that are congruent with project goals.
5. Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project outcomes.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the agreed quality standards and are aligned with client requirements and organizational goals, adhering to practices like CMMI.
7. Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through effective communication and relationship management. Establish and maintain good business relationships with stakeholders and ensure buy-in throughout the project lifecycle to achieve business goals.
8. Reporting & Governance: Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate project performance to senior management and clients. Ensure projects adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and standards defined in the contract.
9. Technical Oversight & Security: Understand the interdependencies of the services (application, system, network, and database) and can accurately pinpoint problem areas to improve overall efficiency. Direct the conduct of application systems audits and performance review and make recommendations for changes, as necessary. Ensure all security procedures are carried out correctly to achieve compliance with security policies and standards.
10. Cultural Alignment: Communicate, influence, persuade, and lead by example, the core values of the company.

Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is optional.
3. At least 8 years of experience in IT project management and operations, with a proven track record of successfully managing small- to medium-scale projects.
4. Certification: PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable, with proven work experience in a CMMI environment.
5. Frameworks: Proven experience with the ITIL framework and IT service management.
6. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure management, with an understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles.
7. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to coordinate with clients and manage their expectations, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
